EAST CHICAGO, Ind., Jan. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Ispat Inland Inc. was back in
full production today after pausing over the New Year's rollover.
"We idled virtually all of our operations briefly, then began testing and
restarting soon after midnight," said Dale E. Wiersbe, president and chief
executive officer.
"More than four years' preparation paid off. There were no significant
difficulties related to the so-called Y2K problem."
