With the purchase, RMI.NET will relocate its Great Lakes Division
operations to ServerCom's web hosting and carrier-class data center. This

expected growth and expansion plans in Illinois.

with access service to the university Internet system, through networking
business arrangements with owners of local student apartment complexes,
housing developments and other residences.
"ServerCom provides us with a new, state-of-the-art web hosting and data
center that will allow us to continue with our aggressive growth strategy for
Illinois," said Douglas H. Hanson, chairman and chief executive officer for
RMI.NET. "It also provides us with a strong new position in Champaign, the
home of University of Illinois. RMI.NET will gain additional revenues, and an
opportunity to upsell our e-business solutions."
"The acquisition of ServerCom by RMI.NET will give our customers benefits
they would not have otherwise received if we had remained as a separate
entity," said Mike Kesler, ServerCom general manager and vice-president.
"RMI.NET is a rapidly expanding, national commerce solutions provider that
will allow us to offer additional value-added products and services for our
customers."
