National Poll Names the Gutsiest & Wimpiest Women of 2000

 Courtney Love, Oprah, Hillary Clinton and Others Honored in JANE Magazine's
            February Issue - on Newsstands January 8th Nationwide

               Darva Conger Named 'Wimpiest Woman of the Year'

    NEW YORK, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- With responses from over 1,800 readers
nationwide, JANE magazine unveils its 3rd annual "Gutsiest Women of the Year"
poll in the (new) February issue -- on newsstands January 8th nationwide.
Voting on which women kicked butt in 2000 and which women should be branded
losers, this is the poll that everyone is talking about.
    "These women are confident, believe in who they are and have achieved
great things this year," says Jane Pratt, editor-in-chief of JANE magazine.
