NEW YORK, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Elaine Alimonti has been named
Publisher of Selecciones, it was announced today by Eva Dillon, President,
RD Inspiration, The Reader's Digest Association, Inc. (RDA). Alimonti
assumes this role from her current position with Reader's Digest, where she
has been Associate Publisher since July 2007.
"Elaine brings strong leadership qualities and a proven track record of
sales and marketing successes to her new role," said Dillon. "Selecciones
readers have demonstrated extreme loyalty to the brand. The U.S. Hispanic
population is currently the fastest-growing minority group in the country,

Prior to Reader's Digest, Alimonti was the Associate Publisher of
Cookie, a position she held since the magazine's launch by Conde Nast in
2005. Before that, she spent seven years as Associate Publisher at the New
York Observer. She was also Advertising Director at SPY, and worked in
sales at AdWeek.
Elaine Alimonti succeeds Elizabeth Bradley, who is leaving to pursue
other interests after six years with the magazine.
