Dominion Executive Vice President Duane Radtke Retires

    RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dominion (NYSE: D)
announced today the retirement of Duane C. Radtke as executive vice
president on Dec. 31, 2007. Radtke had been responsible for the company's
natural gas and oil exploration and production business.

"Dominion is extremely grateful for Duane's outstanding leadership and
business counsel," said Thomas F. Farrell II, chairman, president and chief
executive officer. "We wish him an enjoyable retirement. After leading a
very successful expansion of our E&P business -- building it into one of
the largest and most-respected independent producers in North America --
Duane was just as successful at managing the sale of most of our E&P assets
as part of Dominion's refocusing on our regulated energy sales,
transmission and distribution businesses and power generation."

Radtke joined Dominion as president and chief executive officer of its
E&P operations in 2001. He previously worked at the Santa Fe Snyder Corp.
of Houston, which merged into Devon Energy in 2000.

Radtke, a Houston resident, is a past president of Spindletop Charities
Inc. and was recently honored as 2007 Mr. Spindletop for his charitable
work. He is a native of Wausau, Wisc., and a graduate of the University of
Wisconsin with a bachelor's degree in mining engineering.

Dominion is one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of
energy, with a portfolio of approximately 26,500 megawatts of generation,
7,800 miles of natural gas transmission pipeline and 1 trillion cubic feet
equivalent (Tcfe) of proved natural gas and oil reserves. Dominion also
owns and operates the nation's largest underground natural gas storage
system with about 960 billion cubic feet of storage capacity and serves
retail energy customers in 11 states. For more information about Dominion,
