iBiquity Digital and TOKO Partner to Open International HD Radio(TM) Certification Center in Japan

    LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- International Consumer Electronics Show
-- iBiquity Digital Corporation, the sole developer of digital HD Radio(TM)
technology, and TOKO Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronic components and
modules, announced today the opening of an International HD Radio
Certification Center at the TOKO facility in Saitama, Japan.  The new
International Certification Center will provide technical support and product
certification services for licensed HD Radio consumer electronics partners.
    Under the arrangement, engineers from TOKO will test and evaluate HD Radio
products according to the same rigorous criteria used at iBiquity's
certification facility in Maryland.  The data will subsequently be aggregated
and provided to iBiquity for certification of the product or device.

make the certification process much more timely and convenient, especially for
our Asian-based manufacturers, and will speed time-to-market for HD Radio
