New Pixa 'Easy Theater 7.1' DVD Home Theater System Includes 5.1 Speaker Kit with Multipurpose 2.0 Wireless Rear Speakers

        Wireless Speakers Do Double Duty with PCs, CD and MP3 Players

    LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- 2005 International CES, South Hall 2
#25427 -- Take a high-performance DVD receiver with a built-in AM/FM tuner,
add a 7.1 speaker kit with wireless rear speakers that support multiple audio
devices, and you get the Pixa DVW-200 Easy Theater 7.1 -- a new multipurpose
DVD home theater system from Pixa, Inc., that eliminates the need to buy
separate speakers for your PC, CD or MP3 player.
    The speaker package includes a 5.1-channel, 200-watt Dolby Digital/dts
surround sound system consisting of four wired speakers and a subwoofer, plus
two 2.4 GHz wireless rear speakers integrated into a single cabinet for easy
room placement. Each wireless speaker is positioned at a 45-degree angle in
the cabinet and utilizes Dynamic Refraction Surround Sound (DRSS) technology
enabling audio to bounce off the wall and back to the listener for a surround
sound effect.
    In addition to bringing surround sound to DVD movies, the wireless
speakers can be used as a digital boom box that can move from sound source to
sound source and room to room without disconnecting and reconnecting cables.
The wireless speakers can:

    -- Deliver CD, AM/FM or burned MP3 audio from the system's DVD receiver;
    -- Broadcast music from a CD or MP3 player via a wireless transmitter
       included with the package that plugs into the DVD player's 3.5mm stereo
       jack;
    -- Transmit stored music or Internet radio from a PC via a USB-based
       wireless transmitter that can be purchased separately; or
    -- Beam music into the backyard, basement, garage or any room in the
       house.

    The same transmitters can also send DVD, CD, MP3 or PC-based audio to
wireless headphones that are available as an add-on accessory.
    The DVW-200 supports DVD, VCD, DVCD, MP3, JPEG and picture CD-RW files,
progressive scan DVD playback for super-sharp picture quality, and multi-view
angle and multi-language/multi-subtitle for DVDs. The built-in AM/FM tuner is
capable of saving up to 20 stations.
    The system comes with a remote control and standard component Y/Cr/CB,
S-Video and composite video connectors for hooking up to the television.
