RMI.NET Announces Senior Management Changes

           Michael Mara Named Senior Vice President for Operations

    DENVER, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- RMI.NET, Inc. (Nasdaq: RMII), a national
e-business solutions company, announced today that Mary Beth Vitale has
resigned as president and chief operating officer for the company, effective
Jan. 30, 2000.  Douglas H. Hanson, RMI.NET chairman and chief executive
officer, will resume the duties he previously held as president and chief
operating officer.  Vitale will remain on RMI.NET's board of directors and
plans to pursue startup opportunities in the communications industry.

    In addition, RMI.NET announced that Michael Mara has been promoted to
senior vice president of operations, and will be responsible for the day-to-
day operations of the company.  Mara, who currently serves as vice president
for business development, has been with RMI.NET since 1995 and has held
numerous positions with the company, including vice president of sales.
    "Mike Mara has been involved with virtually all facets of RMI.NET over the
years, including Internet operations, customer service, sales and marketing,
and the integration of the various companies acquired by RMI.NET," Hanson
said.  "I have every confidence in Mike's ability to run our day-to-day
