today announced that its presentation at the JP Morgan H&Q Healthcare
Conference will be webcast live and may be accessed under the 'investor

Russell Howard, chief executive officer of Maxygen, will provide an

guidance for 2002. His presentation will be delivered at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific
