Travel Agents Can Now View Fares From The Web And Galileo's Database On A
                                Single Screen

LANGLEY, UK, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Galileo International, a leading
provider of electronic global distribution services (GDS) for the travel
industry, today announced the launch of Custom Fares. This new service allows
Galileo-connected travel agents in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to view
Web fares from European low-cost carriers that are not included in the
Galileo(R) system alongside fares from Galileo's fares database.

Custom Fares reduces the time agents spend searching for the best fares
for their customers, enabling them to provide a greater choice of flights with
a much broader range of prices. No longer will agents have to search Web sites
of low-cost carriers separately for the best point-to-point fares. With Custom
Fares, they now have easy access to this information from a single source
provided by Galileo.
Said Peter Hopwood, Galileo product manager:
"Travel agents want to be able to offer their customers a complete array
of fares whether they come via the Web or via Galileo's databases. With the
launch of Custom Fares, Galileo is bringing all these fares onto one screen so
agents don't have to waste time searching individual sites. With the ability
to book on more routes and airlines, agents also gain additional revenue
opportunities."
In addition to the single-search function, Custom Fares goes further in
saving agents' time when booking Web fares. With its pre-fill feature, both
agent and passenger information that is input into the requested fare, is
automatically transferred to the low-cost carrier's Web site.
Custom Fares is available as a chargeable option for travel agents using
Galileo's Viewpoint 3.0(TM) product and will be available during the first
quarter of 2003.
