CEO & Company Founder J.M. Romick Retires Maintaining Board of Directors

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Artromick International, Inc., a
leading developer of medication management and healthcare technology
solutions for the long-term and acute care markets, today appointed William
G. Shields chief executive officer. Former CEO and founder J.M. Romick
retires from the company while remaining an active member of the board of
directors.

A pharmacist by training, Shields brings more than 20 years of
leadership experience in the institutional pharmacy sector. Most recently,
he was senior vice president of strategic initiatives at AmerisourceBergen,
one of the nation's largest pharmaceutical services providers. Prior to
AmerisourceBergen, Shields was president of PharMerica, the nation's second
largest institutional pharmacy provider. During his tenure, he drove
increases in PharMerica's sales revenue, productivity and customer
satisfaction. Shields has also held management positions at Neighborcare
and Fay's Drugs Company.
