TROY, MI USA
    TROY, Mich., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Maserati's all-new, fifth generation
V-8 powered sedan, the 2004 Quattroporte, recently launched at the Los Angeles
Auto Show and the North American International Auto Show, comes equipped with
the latest climate control technology from Delphi Thermal & Interior, a
division of Delphi Corporation (NYSE: DPH).

Delphi is providing the vehicle's heating, ventilation and air
conditioning (HVAC) unit and related components. The system features
automatic, individually controlled front and rear climate control to allow
every occupant the same level of optimal thermal comfort. It automatically
adapts the interior temperature levels to changes in exterior temperature,
sunlight intensity and humidity.
According to Marshall Andrews, managing director, European and South
American Operations, Delphi Thermal & Interior, Delphi's content on the new
Maserati strengthens the ongoing relationship between the supplier and the
automaker.
"Maserati has a long-standing history of combining innovation and cutting-
edge technology with the utmost in style and luxury. Delphi is proud to
showcase our thermal management expertise onboard the new Quattroporte,"
Andrews said.
The majority of the system components are supplied from Delphi's Italy
operations. Additional components include a condenser and a 7-CVC Compact
Variable Compressor, produced at other Delphi Thermal & Interior European
facilities. The compressor is the heart of the vehicle's air conditioning
system and the 7-CVC offers enhanced economy, refinement and performance.
Delphi also has complete wiring harness responsibility on the
Quattroporte, supplied through its Packard Electric Systems division.
