Limited Brands Announces New Leadership at Victoria's Secret Beauty

COLUMBUS, OH UNITED STATES
    COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Limited Brands, Inc.
(NYSE: LTD), parent company of Victoria's Secret, today announced the
appointment of Shashi Batra as president of Victoria's Secret Beauty.

    Batra joins Victoria's Secret Beauty from his position as president of
N.V. Perricone, where he was responsible for U.S. and global operations and
led its dramatic growth across all channels during his tenure there. Before
his role leading Perricone, Batra was one of the original founding members
of Sephora USA. His previous leadership and merchandising work in beauty
included growing the cosmetics businesses at major brands including Estee
Lauder, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's and Christian Dior.

    Batra will join the company on Jan. 22, 2008, and will report to Sharen
Jester Turney, president and chief executive officer of Victoria's Secret.
Batra replaces Victoria's Secret Beauty Chief Executive Officer Christine
Beauchamp.

    Turney noted, "We are happy to welcome Shashi to our team. His talent
lies in his special combination of fundamental industry knowledge and
international beauty experience. I am confident he will move Victoria's
Secret Beauty forward. I also want to thank Christine for all of her

    Victoria's Secret Beauty products are currently sold in Victoria's
Secret Stores in the United States, in La Senza stores in Canada, on
http://www.victoriassecret.com and in seven other countries through duty-free
shops and other retail outlets.
