IRVINe, Calif., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hop-on.com, Inc.
(OTC: HPON) today announced the successful conclusion of The International CES
tradeshow, the world's largest annual consumer technology tradeshow, January
6-9, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada ( http://www.CESweb.org ).
At this year's CES, Hop-on showcased 15 cellphone models, two different
wireless surveillance systems and its full line of wireless accessories. The
Company's cellphones ranged from its lower priced GSM model 1822 to its new,
higher end, fashion forward GSM/GPRS cellphone, The Blade.
Dan Gannon, Chief Executive Officer of Hop-on commented, "This year's CES
was by far our most successful to date. In prior years, we had a smaller
booth and concept products. This year we had a full line of great phones and
supporting accessories, which resulted in high interest from carriers,
distributors, retailers and consumers. Our goal is to now convert this
interest into actual sales. We are now competing with the largest handset
manufacturers in the world as our handsets offer carriers and consumers an
alternative handset solution. Importantly, in most cases we expect we will be
able to sell our handsets for approximately half the price of competing models
because we are not constrained by the burdensome global overhead that other
companies must support. We also expect our lean corporate structure will
allow us to develop and introduce newer cellphone models at an even faster
pace and to support the models we are currently offering."
