BILLERICA, Mass., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GSI Group Inc.
(Nasdaq: GSIG) today announced an order for its Wafer Repair systems used in
the production of memory chips. This was a multi-million dollar order and will
be used in the production of both DRAM and NAND Flash memory chips. Some of
these systems were delivered in Q4 2005 and others will be delivered in Q1
2006.
According to Nino Federico, V.P. and General Manager for the company's
Laser Systems Group, "We are pleased with the active order pattern we
experienced in the fourth quarter."
