services, today announced it has signed an agreement with LSSi Corp., the
world's leading provider of telephony-sourced databases of telephone
listings, to offer nationwide directory listing service to Packet8 business
VoIP phone service subscribers.
Effective immediately, all Packet8 business subscribers will receive a
free listing in LSSi's national 411 Directory Assistance database. The LSSi
Database includes 135 million residential and business listings from the
United States and Puerto Rico. This "telco-fresh" database owes its
extraordinary freshness and accuracy to the fact that more than 99 percent
of its listings consist of service-order-level data provided daily to LSSi
by the listing owners themselves, such as local phone companies and VoIP
service providers. Year after year, the LSSi Database has been acknowledged
as the most accurate telephony-based database in the United States by
respected industry analyst, The Paisley Group.

This Directory Listing Service is initially available to Packet8
business customers and will be offered to residential subscribers later
this year.
