The initiative, first launched in 1993, features promotional and
functional web components to work in conjunction with the economic and
workforce development initiatives of the dynamic biopharmaceutical industry
in Massachusetts. The much anticipated 2008 Genetown Hotbed Map, available

Various print collateral pieces are distributed to life science
professionals at regional and international events throughout the year.
Sponsors for this year's campaign were Thermo Fisher Scientific and
Wyeth Biotech. Other organizations featured on the map include Abbott,
Alkermes, MGI PHARMA, i3 Research, Parexel, Merck, Millennium
Pharmaceuticals and Novartis, along with over 60 other participants,
