CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reliv International,
Inc. (Nasdaq: RELV), an international manufacturer and network marketer of
nutritional supplements and other food technology products, announced today
that the company, and the Kalogris Foundation, a charitable organization
supported by Reliv and Reliv distributors, together have pledged almost
$550,000 of Reliv food supplement products and $50,000 in cash to provide
relief to victims of the Tsunami in Asia. The $50,000 will be donated to the
Red Cross "Tsunami Relief Fund" and the food supplements will be distributed
to those in need through feeding centers which are being established in
Colombo, Sri Lanka and India.
The food supplements will be provided both by Reliv and by the Kalogris
Foundation. The Kalogris Foundation was organized by Reliv in the name of
Theodore A. Kalogris, the creator of Reliv's first food supplement product, to
provide food to those in need in various areas of the world. Over the years,
the Kalogris Foundation has distributed Reliv food supplements to families and
children in need in the United States and around the world. Contributions are
made to the Foundation both by Reliv distributors and by the company.
