Bids farewell to retiring head of expatriate benefits
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 12, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CIGNA
International today announced that Robert Hughes, formerly chief financial
officer of CIGNA International, will lead the HealthCare Benefits business
group, reporting to CIGNA International President Paul E. Hartley.
Additionally, Tim Buckley, formerly of General Electric (GE), will succeed
Hughes as CIGNA International's chief financial officer. Buckley will
report to Hartley and Michael W. Bell, executive vice president and chief
financial officer for CIGNA Corporation. Both positions are effective
immediately.

leadership positions with increasing responsibility in Corporate Finance,

Hartley also thanked expatriate benefits leader Andrew Mellen, who is

New CFO
In his new financial role, Tim Buckley will assume executive
responsibility for the financial strategy and management of CIGNA's
international operations. Throughout his 20-year career with GE, Buckley
held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility. Notably, he
served as financial analyst for GE Plastics in Tokyo, corporate auditor for
GE, manager of Financial Planning & Analysis for GE Capital Vendor
Financial Services, CFO for GE Capital in Thailand and CFO for GE Insurance
Solutions in the Americas.
