Mothers Work to Present at Cowen's Consumer Conference on January 16th

    PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mothers Work, Inc.
(Nasdaq: MWRK), the world's leading maternity apparel retailer, today
announced that Rebecca Matthias, President, Chief Creative Officer and
Acting Chief Merchandising Officer of the Company, and Ed Krell, Chief
Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will present to
investors at the Cowen and Company 6th Annual Consumer Conference on
Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time in New York, New
York. A live webcast of the Cowen presentation will be available on Mothers
Work's website at http://www.motherswork.com, and may be accessed via the link
under the site's Investor Relations section. Participants should allow
approximately ten minutes prior to the presentation start time to visit the
