Harris Corporation Demonstrates Harris Digital Signage(TM) Solutions for Retailers at National Retail Federation Convention

Harris Corporation Sponsors the X08 Store of the Future Pavilion and Offers
   Hands-on Demonstration of Full-Featured, Multi-Display InfoCaster(TM)
                          Digital Signage Network

    NEW YORK, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (NRF, Booth #2172) --
Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), an international communications and
information technology company, will feature its Harris Digital Signage(TM)
solutions for retailers at the 97th Annual National Retail Federation (NRF)
Convention and Expo being held January 13-16, 2008, at the Jacob K. Javits
Convention Center in New York.

At this year's NRF convention, Harris will be featured as the exclusive
provider of digital signage solutions at the X08 "Beyond the Walls of
Retail." This exhibit, housed within the X08 Store of the Future Pavilion,
highlights the integration of digital signage as one of many exciting,
cutting-edge electronic technologies transforming today's retail
environments. A control room setup at the XO8 Pavilion will allow visitors
to experience a Harris Digital Signage(TM) "management how-to"
demonstration for retailers - from developing and scheduling content on the
network to final distribution and traffic and billing report generation.

"The NRF X08 Store of the Future exhibit will feature a Harris Digital
Signage solution feeding a network of more than 30 displays, including HDTV
flat panels and an LCD video wall," said John Melillo, president of
Diversified Media Group, a managed network company in Kenilworth, N.J.,
that is handling the systems integration for the Harris Digital Signage(TM)
X08 exhibit. "The Harris control room at X08 will play a key part in
educating retailers about the components of the digital signage network
infrastructure, as well as demonstrating the advantages of having an
advanced network and report management system."

"Harris provides a unique set of solutions for retailers seeking to
deploy a digital signage program," said Steven Keith Platt, director and
research fellow at the Platt Retail Institute, a leading authority in the
field of digital signage, based in Hinsdale, Ill.

Harris Digital Signage solutions enables retailers to work with a
single vendor that can provide all the capabilities needed for creating,
scheduling, distributing, playing and reporting of both live video and
graphical content. Retailers can acquire or create digital content and
manage it throughout the entire delivery chain -- from a central site, from
remote locations, or from within any store. Complex ad-based campaigns can
also be easily scheduled and managed, with reports automatically generated,
as content from multiple sources is delivered to multiple displays.

Harris Digital Signage solutions, which include InfoCaster(TM) creation
station content development tools and InfoCaster(TM) player content
playback devices provide best-of-breed technology and services to
broadcasters in over 150 countries. Harris Digital Signage solutions
support the same high-caliber HDTV video and graphics technology, as well
as media asset management, automation, scheduling, and traffic and billing
systems used daily to manage many of the world's advertiser-supported
broadcast operations.
