Host Communications Enhances Pepsi Cola's Tie-In With Southern Conference Athletics; Secures Two Corporate Partnerships

    LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Host Communications, Inc., a
wholly owned subsidiary of Bull Run Corporation (Nasdaq: BULL), has signed
Pepsi Cola and BI-LO, LLC to the Southern Conference Corporate Partner
Program.  This marks the second year for Host Communications to handle the
media/marketing rights for the Southern Conference, which includes selling,
administering and marketing the Corporate Partner Program.
    Pepsi Cola (as official beverage company) and BI-LO (as official grocer)
join JustBalls.com and Microtel Inns & Suites as new companies that have been
secured into the Southern Conference Corporate Partner Program by Host
Communications in recent months.  The Pepsi and BI-LO partnerships are three-
year agreements, with each receiving exclusive category rights, promotional
marketing opportunities and rights to the Southern Conference name and logo.
Additionally, the agreement includes presence at all 18 men's and women's
conference championships and various media exposure.
    Additionally, Pepsi has assigned its Mountain Dew brand as title sponsor
of the Conference's basketball championships, retaining and renewing the
exclusive soft drink category rights and title privileges through 2003.

Team Roping Championships (USTRC) to generate corporate partnerships for this
distinct affinity group of more than 100,000 ropers.  The USTRC, recognized as
America's largest and fastest-growing performance horse sports organization,
is the producer of The National Finals of Team Roping -- the largest and
world's richest annual team roping event for professionals and amateurs.
