TEANECK, N.J., Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- SynData Technologies Inc., the

appointment of W. Patrick Pryor as Sales Engineering Manager, Northeast
Region. Pryor will have responsibility for overseeing VAR training and
customer implementation of the SynData suite of products.
With more than 15 years experience in the information systems security
industry, Pryor's expertise resides in selecting and implementing encryption
technology for wholesale and retail funds transfer systems, and installing and
administering all major mainframe security software products. Prior to joining
SynData, he was an overlay sales manager for RSA Security, Inc. for the Keon
product line and also acted as territory manager for major financial sector
accounts. At Technologic Software Concepts, Inc., Pryor was eastern region
account manager responsible for managing all post-sales installation and
implementation activities. As president of Open Systems Security, Inc., Pryor
developed information protection strategies for Fortune 100 companies. As vice
president, director of risk management for First Fidelity Bancorporation,
Pryor was responsible for directing all aspects of the data security and
contingency planning programs for all affiliates of the 25th largest bank in
the United States.
Pryor holds a BS in Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
He has served as chairman of the ABA Information Security Committee and was
vice president of the New York Metro chapter of the Information Systems
Security Association where he currently serves on the Board of Directors.
A frequent speaker at Information Security conferences, Pryor has received
the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified
Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) designations.
