appointment of Aram Perez as chief security architect. As chief security
architect, Perez will have the responsibility for driving SynData's vision of
enterprise security.

Perez has an extensive background in information technology and in
designing and implementing data encryption systems. Prior to joining SynData,
he served as chief security architect at Apple Computer, designing and
implementing a security architecture for the Mac OS. He was senior
cryptographic engineer at RSA Data Security, Inc. where he worked with Visa
and Mastercard on the SET protocol. As the owner of International Computer
Services, Perez worked with RSA Laboratories as the editor for version 1 of
PKCS #11, an API that provides hardware independence to applications requiring
cryptographic services. He also held top engineering positions at Jones
Futurex and Logistic Systems Architects.
Mr. Perez participates in numerous security related standards work,
including those from IETF (PXIX), The Open Group (CDSA), Visa and Mastercard
(SET), RSA (PKCS), ABA (PKI Assessment Guidelines), IEEE and ANSI.
