Worldwide Flight Services Names Wiemuth Director of Communications

    FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Worldwide Flight Services, the
world's leading independent aviation services provider, announced today the
promotion of Kim Wiemuth to director of communications, a newly created
position.
    In her new position, Wiemuth will serve as liaison between the company and
its 10,000 employees, its investors and some 300 major customers worldwide.
Wiemuth will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing all
communication activities.
    Wiemuth joined Worldwide Flight Services in March 1992, serving as human
resources representative.  In this role, she produced all employee
communications for the human resources department; established company
recruitment processes; and served as liaison between management and employee
groups.
    Wiemuth most recently served as manager of employment compliance at
Worldwide Flight Services.  In this position she oversaw all aspects of
corporate compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations.  Wiemuth was
also responsible for overseeing company recruitment activities, including
coordinating with corporate counsel, developing affirmative action plans and
introducing diversity and other training programs.
