Corporation (NYSE: POS) today announced the election of Peter Tattle, a former
Group Company Chairman of Johnson & Johnson, to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Tattle joined Johnson & Johnson in 1965 as a sales representative for
the company's affiliate, Ortho Pharmaceuticals Canada. Throughout his career
with the company, Tattle held various senior positions in sales, marketing and
product management before being named as a Group Company Chairman of Johnson &
Johnson in October 1991. In this position, which he held until his retirement
in 2001, he assumed responsibility for the pharmaceutical businesses in the
Americas including, Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical and Ortho Biotech Products in
the U.S., Janssen-Ortho in Canada, and the pharmaceutical businesses in Mexico
and Latin America. Mr. Tattle also served as a member of Johnson & Johnson's
Pharmaceuticals Group Operating Committee.
Mr. Tattle is on the board of Xanthus Life Sciences, Incorporated, a
privately held biotech firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as well as
serving as a non-voting member of the Advisory Board of DFB Pharmaceuticals in
Ft. Worth, Texas. He also has served on the Board for the Cancer Institute of
New Jersey.
