Equitable Resources Announces Earnings Conference Call
 
    PITTSBURGH, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Equitable Resources
(NYSE: EQT) will host a teleconference with security analysts on January 26,
2006, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time.  The topic of the conference call
will be financial results for the calendar year 2005, which will be released
before the NYSE opening that morning.  A Q&A session for security analysts
will follow a review of these results.
    Equitable's teleconference with security analysts will be simulcast live
via Equitable Resources' website, http://www.eqt.com, and will be available for
replay on the website for a seven-day period.
