LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Food 4 Less, the nation's premiere
price-impact supermarket chain, is pleased to announce that Mike Flickinger
has joined the grocery chain as Manager of Real Estate. In this new position,
Flickinger is responsible for real estate development, lease administration
and property management for the chain's expansion into the Midwest.
Flickinger reports directly to Jay Cummins, who was recently named Vice
President and General Manager of Food 4 Less' Midwest Operations.
Flickinger, 31, joins Food 4 Less from Dominick's Finer Foods in Chicago
where he served as real estate manager responsible for activity in Chicago and
Northwest Indiana. Prior to that, he held the position of real estate manager
at Kmart Corporation in Atlanta GA from 1996 to 1999.
Flickinger is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a BA in Food
Marketing. He resides in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Food 4 Less currently operates 111 price-impact, warehouse-style stores
under the banners Food 4 Less in Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada,
and Foods Co in Northern California, from its headquarters in Compton,
California. Food 4 Less is a division of The Kroger Co., (NYSE: KR), one of
