SINGAPORE, Jan. 18 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- ING Wholesale Banking, Asia
("ING") today announced the appointment of Terence Yiu as Head of Foreign
Exchange Options, Asia effective immediately.
Based in Singapore, Mr. Yiu reports to Mr. Remi Dupoirieux, Head of
Developed Market Foreign Exchange and Foreign Exchange Derivatives, Asia. He
will be responsible for leveraging ING's existing options expertise and
technology to enhance FX option coverage in Asia, in particular for Asian
local currencies, to the benefit of the bank's global client base.
Originally starting his career in Hong Kong with Standard Chartered, Mr.
Yiu moved to Singapore with the bank in 1995 to take on trading
responsibilities. He was appointed Senior Foreign Exchange Options Trader for
global foreign exchange options in 1999. Mr. Yiu joined ABN in 2002 to set up
the regional currency option desk as Chief Dealer, Global FX Options/Local
Markets and was responsible for adding exotic capabilities to the Asian
currency option business as well as onshore currency options in India,
Indonesia and Thailand.
