Coherent, Inc. to Webcast First Fiscal Quarter 2006 Results
 
    SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Coherent, Inc.
(Nasdaq: COHR), today announced the Company would release its earnings after
the market close and host a live webcast to discuss its upcoming first fiscal
quarter 2006 results scheduled for Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. ET.
    The call will be broadcast live over the Internet and can be accessed at
either http://www.coherent.com/Investors/ or http://www.earnings.com .  For
those who are not available to listen to the live broadcast, the call will be
