Contract Emphasizes Ongoing Relationship

today announced that it has extended its current enterprise agreement with
Federal Express Corp. ("FedEx") for the use of Sybase database management
products and application development tools. FedEx, who shares a strong working

critical applications around the globe. In particular, Sybase Replication
Server(R) and Adaptive Server(R) Enterprise enable FedEx to support the
information intensity, reliability and decision-making required by its
customers.
