2008 North American International Auto Show Offers Parking and Transportation Tips for Visitors on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and During Public Days

DETROIT, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- WHO: The 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) will be open to the public every day through Sunday, Jan. 27, including Monday, Jan. 21, the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. WHAT: To pre-arrange parking, the NAIAS 2008 recommends: -- Click and Park, an online parking system, allows attendees to purchase a parking space in advance. Advance parking purchases can be made by visiting http://www.ClickandPark.com or http://www.naias.com. -- Click and Park lots include Olympia, Sterling, Miller Parking and AMPCO. -- Shuttle services at the Detroit Zoo and The Henry Ford will continue to be available Jan. 21, and Jan. 26-27. Parking is $5 and travel is on a luxury motor coach for $5 per person; children 12 and under travel free. Shuttle times and further details are available on http://www.naias.com. -- Reservations can be made for disabled access through Bianco Tours by calling (800) 835-8904 with 24-hour advanced notification. -- The Detroit People Mover, with 13 stops located throughout downtown Detroit, includes a stop on the third floor of Cobo Center and is available at a cost of $0.50 per person. Visitors to the show may purchase advance NAIAS tickets by calling (248) 283-5173, visiting http://www.naias.com or on-site at Cobo Center during the remaining Public Days through Jan. 27. Ticket prices are $12 (USD) for adults; $6 (USD) for senior citizens (65 and older) and children aged 7-12; children six and under are free with their parent. WHERE: The NAIAS 2008 Public Days will take place at Cobo Center in Detroit. WHEN: Public Days for the NAIAS will continue every day through Saturday, Jan. 26 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sunday, Jan. 27 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is no admittance one hour prior to show closing.
