WHEELING, W.Va., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Esmark Incorporated
(Nasdaq: ESMK) (the "Company") today announced that Joel Mazur has been
named President of its division, Wheeling Corrugating Company. Mazur will
report to Thomas Modrowski, Executive Vice-President of Downstream
Operations.
Mazur has worked in the steel industry for over 25 years, including
positions at Winner Steel, The Techs (now part of Steel Dynamics), Weirton
Steel Corporation (now part of ArcelorMittal) and National Steel
Corporation (now part of U. S. Steel).
"Joel's broad experience in the steel industry coupled with his strong
educational background makes him a valuable asset to our management team
and the right candidate to optimize the Wheeling Corrugating business going
forward," commented James P. Bouchard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
of Esmark Incorporated. Mazur, 48, holds a master's degree in business from
the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor's degree in economics from
Harvard University. He currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife
Sharon and four children.
Wheeling Corrugating Company is part of the Company's Downstream
Operations Segment. Its major products include: construction products
utilized in the non-residential building market; agricultural products used
in the roofing and siding markets; and specialty products used in the
culvert and heating, ventilation and air conditioning markets.
