Reader's Digest Magazine Names Tom Prince Executive Editor

    PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Reader's Digest has
appointed Tom Prince as an Executive Editor, it was announced today by the
magazine's Editor-in-Chief, Peggy Northrop.

    "Tom Prince is one of the most innovative editors in the business,"
said Northrop. "His expertise in designing new experiences for readers will
be invaluable as we take the magazine's redesign to the next level."

    Prince joins Reader's Digest from Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia,
where most recently he was Vice President, Development Editor. While at
MSLO, Tom conceived and oversaw Blueprint magazine, which launched in 2006.
Prior to MSLO, Tom was Executive Editor at Real Simple (2001 to 2004) and
spent seven years at Allure, where he also became Executive Editor. Tom's
magazine roots were established over ten years at New York Magazine, as he
rose through the masthead to become Deputy Editor in 1994.
