acquisition of the domain name Sex.com, from entrepreneur and Internet
personality Gary Kremen, the CEO of Grant Media, LLC and founder of Match.com.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. It is believed to be among the
most significant domain sale transactions in history. Financing for the
acquisition was provided in part by Domain Capital LLC, a leader in the

safe environment. It will provide the most extensive adult dating
opportunities, sex and relationship advice, erotica, multimedia, adult
products, video-on-demand, live video chat, and communities of like-minded
interests.
"Escom will maximize the user experience in a fundamentally different way
than we had been doing at Grant Media," said Gary Kremen. "I am excited to
see how the revolutionary new business plan evolves."
Mr. Kremen will continue to act as an advisor to the company and manage
