joined the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the leading industry
organization of the nutritional supplement industry. In a letter to Reliv,
Annette Dickinson, Ph.D., President of CRN said: "The Board of Directors of
the Council for Responsible Nutrition has approved Reliv International, Inc.'s
application for voting membership. CRN has earned a unique leadership role as
a voice for manufacturers and suppliers of dietary supplements, ingredients
and other dietary supplement products."
The Council for Responsible Nutrition was formed in 1973 by major
companies in the nutritional supplement industry. CRN members adhere to a
strong code of ethics and manufacture dietary supplements to high quality
standards under good manufacturing practices. CRN provides members companies
with expertise and action in the areas of science, regulation, legislation,
communications and international affairs. The Council advocates for public
policy based on sound science and the ability of consumers to have access to a
wide variety of high quality, safe and beneficial dietary supplement products.
