MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Hundreds of Twin Cities residents
will warm up together on a cold Saturday morning in January to raise funds
for a great cause: kids and adults with developmental disabilities.
The Twin Cities community is invited to participate in the seventh
annual Roll & Stroll for Fraser(TM) being sponsored by GMAC ResCap
(Residential Capital, LLC), a leading real estate finance company with
headquarters in Bloomington, Minn. Fraser, a Minnesota nonprofit, serves
children of all abilities and adults with special needs through
comprehensive education, healthcare and housing.
GMAC ResCap Roll & Stroll for Fraser is an important fundraising event
that helps Fraser make up for the costs of services not covered by
insurance, government or private pay. Fraser services are critical and help
children and adults with developmental disabilities including autism, Down
syndrome and cerebral palsy. The community's support is critical in helping
to ensure these services remain available for all who need them.
The Roll & Stroll for Fraser takes place at the Mall of America on
Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, from 7 to 9 A.M. on Level 1, starting at the East
entrance between Sears and Bloomingdale's. The event will include a
continental breakfast, games, prizes, celebrities, mascots, dancing and
music. This public fund-raising walk is designed especially for children,
families and people with special needs who will make their way around the
mall, taking part in activities along the way. There are no distance
requirements and participants can walk, roll or stroll as long as they
like.
"At GMAC ResCap, we are committed to making a difference in the
communities in which we live and work by following the hearts of our
associates," said Sharon Sayles-Belton, managing director, community
relations at GMAC ResCap. "The Roll & Stroll will help make a difference in
the lives of children, adults and families that are served by Fraser.
Together, we can and will make a difference!"

participating are encouraged to raise a minimum of $25 in pledges to
support Fraser programs for children of all abilities and adults with

and more than 1,100 people participated.
