LOS ANGELES, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Food 4 Less is pleased to announce
that Jeff Albrecht has joined the nation's premiere price-impact supermarket
chain as Manager of Sales & Marketing, Food 4 Less Expansion Areas. In this
new position, Albrecht will head up the Chicago Sales and Marketing team for
the chain's new Midwest expansion project.
Albrecht reports directly to Jay Cummins, who was recently named Vice
President and General Manager of Food 4 Less' Midwest Operations.
Albrecht, 48, comes to Food 4 Less with over 28 years experience in the
grocery industry. He started his career with Alpha Beta in 1973 and held
various management positions including District Grocery/GM Merchandiser, Store
Manager and Corporate Category Manager. In 1988 he worked for American Stores
as National Category Manager in Chicago, IL, prior to returning to Southern
California as Senior Marketing Manager for Grocery/GM. He also served as
Assistant Grocery Director with Albertson's Southern California division.
Albrecht is a graduate of the University of Redlands with a BA in Business and
Management.

and Foods Co in Northern California, from its headquarters in Compton,
