Women In Communications (WIC) of Detroit program on Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, at
6 p.m. at the Xhedos Cafe, 240 West Nine Mile Road in Ferndale.

everyone can use fresh lessons on how to wake up her writing, build momentum
and suspense in long pieces and find ready audiences. John D. Lamb, singer,
songwriter and producer of the annual Walloon Writer's Retreat, will share
suggestions from internationally published authors and journalists who speak

Stay after the meeting to hear Nancy Combs, former WIC member who recently
produced a music CD, along with Lamb and others who will showcase their
