    CHICAGO, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of W.W. Grainger,
Inc. (NYSE: GWW) today declared a quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share
payable March 1, 2000, to shareholders of record February 7, 2000.
