Cozimo Unveils Simple, Elegant Web Application for Image, Video Collaboration

    PALM DESERT, Calif., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- DEMO 08 -- Cozimo
Technologies Inc. (http://www.cozimo.com) today introduced a new real-time
web-based application for digital media and design professionals who
regularly review and collaborate on visual content -- such as images, video
or PDF files -- and require feedback from many people located in many
different locations.

"What people call real-time collaboration on the web today is neither,"
says Douglas Gayeton, chief creative officer of Millions of Us, the virtual
worlds agency whose clients include Intel, Microsoft, Warner Brothers, Coca
Cola and Scion. "To do what we do with Cozimo used to require everyone to
be in the same room. It's totally changed the way we work."

Cozimo lets users review images or video from any web browser together
or separately. In live sessions, participants can view and write comments
or draw on digital images or video frames. Marked frames or pages are shown
on a timeline at the bottom of the work screen and allows users to jump to
any specific frame or page in an instant. All annotations, messages and
activity are tracked and recorded so users have a complete record of all
content- related activity throughout the course of a design or production
project.

Cozimo's Presenter Mode lets users lead a discussion or presentation,
ensuring that video playback is completely synchronized and that everyone
is on the same page, frame or image at the same time.

"I was working with 15 people on four continents, and the collaboration
issues nearly cost me my job," said Joshua Rosen, Cozimo's CEO, who
developed the original technology when art directing the 2003 remake of
Peter Pan, staring Lynn Redgrave. "I was constantly chasing people and
their changes; digging through hand-written notes. It was a nightmare until
we created Cozimo."

Cozimo supports image formats including jpg, tiff, tga and gif. It also
supports single and multi-page PDF files maintaining vector information --
an excellent way to handle Adobe(R) Illustrator(R) and CAD files -- as well
as video clips in popular formats, such as QuickTime, AVI, Windows media
and Flash.

Personal information in Cozimo is secured with 128 bit encryption and
shared only with people the user chooses to collaborate with. Access to
content is authenticated with username and passwords.

Subscriptions to Cozimo range in price from $29 to $149 per month.
