developed a new "ergo room" concept to help furniture customers reduce by
two-thirds the time it takes to order ergonomic furniture and accessories.
The ergo room, short for ergonomic room, also helps customers save money by
reducing off-contract ergonomic products purchases among employees.
An ergo room is an office space containing work stations that are set up
at a customer's office using free ergonomic furniture and accessory samples
from the customer's standards list which have been pre-approved by the
facility manager. Because the displayed products are pre-approved, employees
can make appointments to visit the room, try out the furniture pieces, and
order directly from Boise Office Solutions without having to order through the
company's facility manager. Products can be checked out of the room and
tested at an employee's workstation for up to two weeks to ensure the product
meets their needs.
