New store offers latest phones, PDAs and wireless devices
CHARLESTON, S.C., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Cingular Wireless, the
nation's largest wireless carrier and part of the new AT&T, is giving
Charleston area residents even more access to the hottest wireless products
and devices as it opens a new store in Mt. Pleasant. From February 2-4,
customers can take advantage of Grand Opening events and special pricing on
the hottest new handsets at the store, located at 1751 Hwy. 17 North.
The new location, with an open, customer-friendly design, will be open
from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 1:00 to 5:00
p.m. on Sundays.
Grand Opening events scheduled for Saturday the 3rd include a live
remote radio broadcast, with WAVF on site between noon and 2:00 p.m. NASCAR
fans will be able to feel what it is like to sit in Jeff Burton's seat
during a race with the Cingular Show Car simulator, which will be at the
store from noon until 6:00 p.m. From noon until 2:00, everyone who comes by
the store is welcome to fill their plates at a "Pig Pickin'" with all the
fixins, catered by the legendary Melvin's Bar-B-Cue.

a convenient and comfortable environment."
To get to the new store, take I-26 to Charleston, then I-526 to Mt.
Pleasant. Take exit 29 to Georgetown. Turn left at the light onto Hwy. 17
North and you will find the store 1/4 mile down on the right, in Mattress
