HOUSTON, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Beginning today, residential
electricity customers in North Central Texas have a new provider on their
list of choices. Houston-based Reliant Energy is offering service in the
region for the first time.
The company is launching its service with a full suite of pricing
plans, payment options and services to meet the diverse needs of customers
in towns such as Jacksonville, Fairfield, Mexia and Groesbeck. Residential
customers can choose from a variety of plans including long-term,
month-to-month, renewable and power market tracking plans.
Reliant is also introducing its OneRate Secure Plan, which provides
savings and a stable price of 13.17 cents per kilowatt hour over the next

customers signing up for the OneRate Secure Plan will receive a retail gift
card of up to $50.
