NGAS to Present at IPAA's First Small Cap Conference in Palm Beach

    LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NGAS Resources, Inc.
(Nasdaq: NGAS), will present at IPAA's First Oil & Gas Investment Symposium
Small Cap (OGIS Small Cap) Conference on Monday, February 7, 2005, at
10:30 a.m. EST. The Conference will be held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel,
100 South Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach, Florida.  OGIS Small Cap is patterned after
IPAA's highly successful OGIS New York and OGIS West conferences, which
attracted over 1,600 attendees this year.
    William S. Daugherty, President and CEO, will discuss NGAS and its natural
gas opportunities in the Appalachian Basin. The discussion will include the
Company's 2005 plans and its long-term strategy.
