CA's John Swainson to Keynote on Securing the Enterprise at RSA Conference 2007

   CA Security Management Experts to Lead Panel Discussions and Speak at
                     Annual Information Security Event

    ISLANDIA, N.Y., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CA, Inc. (NYSE: CA)
announced today that CA President and CEO John Swainson will keynote at the
RSA Conference 2007, at 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in San Francisco. In
an address entitled "The Secure Enterprise: Reducing Risk by Transforming
IT Management," Swainson will discuss the importance of unifying existing
security "silos" to better protect the enterprise, reduce costs, and
facilitate deployment of new business services. He also will describe an
evolving enterprise IT landscape where many services and opportunities will
be enabled by seamless security in a way that can't even be envisioned

    CA security management experts will also participate in the following
RSA Conference sessions:
    * On Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 4:10 p.m., Ron Moritz, senior vice president and
      chief security strategist for CA, will lead a panel discussion entitled
      "Which Way to the Identity Store? Federation, Web Services or SOA?,"
      which will address policy-driven SOA, controversy over standards, SOA
      access control models, and integrating new identities and access control
      rules across new technologies.

    * On Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 5:40 p.m., Yakov Sverdlov, principal software
      engineer and team architect at CA, will present "Enforcing Security
      Policies in a SOA/Federated World." The session will explore best
      practices and reference architecture for integrated transport-oriented
      and message-oriented security in a SOA.

    * On Thursday, Feb. 8 at 10:40 a.m., Herb Mehlhorn, director of product
      management for CA, will lead a panel discussion entitled "Fine-Grain
      Entitlement Management:  Woven in Or Wrapped Around?" This panel session
      will review the forces driving fine-grained entitlements, describe
      emerging approaches and standards to address needs, and outline pitfalls
      to avoid.

    * On Friday, Feb. 9 at 9:00 a.m., Christopher Michael, technology
      strategist for CA, will present "Dogfights & Incident Response." The
      session will take The Art of War approach to using traditional warfare
      techniques as a means to defend.
