REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Signature
Devices, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SDVI) today announced that the company will be
attending the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, February 20th
thru February 22nd. Signature Devices will be at Booth 6449 in the North
Hall showcasing their products and technologies. Video game developers,
publishers, distributors and other interested parties encouraged to come by
the booth.
"We are planning to show off most of products that are scheduled to
ship in 2008," said Kenneth Hurley, CEO of Signature Devices, Inc and
Graffiti Entertainment, LLC. "We have roughly 17 SKUs coming out in 2008
and the products are shaping up nicely."
In addition to showing the games that Signature Devices, Inc. has
developed, there will be showings of our published products for 3rd party
developers. There will also be a demonstration of the online Web 2.0 gaming
community and the free game engine and tools. There has been a lot of hard
work put into the game engine and tools and Signature Devices will have
completed two games with the engine as proof of concept for developers.
Signature will continue to develop more games and release the source code
to developers for free. Releasing the engine and tools for free should
encourage more developers to develop games for the Web 2.0 gaming community
and in turn drive more users to sign up for the community.
The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the world's largest
professionals-only game industry event. The GDC attracts over 16,000
attendees, and is the primary forum where programmers, artists, producers,
game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers and others
involved in the development of interactive games gather to exchange ideas
and shape the future of the industry.
Kenneth Hurley, Signature Devices CEO and President, will be attendance
throughout the event and will be available for product presentations and
one-on-one meetings.
