WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Triad Guaranty Inc.
(Nasdaq: TGIC) announced that its subsidiary, Triad Guaranty Insurance
Corporation, has hired Kathleen M. Fairall as Vice President, Human Resources,
effective immediately. She will report to Mark K. Tonnesen, President and
CEO, in carrying out her responsibilities. This is a new position for the
company.

In her position, Ms. Fairall will have full responsibility for all human
resource matters pertaining to the company. These include organizational
development, recruiting, compensation, employee benefits, employee relations,
communications, and training.

Prior to joining Triad, Ms. Fairall held a number of management positions
with Sara Lee Branded Apparel, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, since 2001, most
recently as Director, Talent Acquisition. From 1999 to 2001, she was employed
by Ingersoll-Rand Company, Mocksville, North Carolina, as Division Human
Resources Manager. Previous employers included Black & Decker, Asheboro,
North Carolina, and The Timken Company, Randelman, North Carolina. Ms.
Fairall served in the U.S. Army from 1981-1991.
