Showcases Workshare Ready Partners, World's Leading ILP Client, and
Standards Based Workflow and Discovery and Reporting; Facilitates Peer2Peer
Session with Legal IT Expert
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Workshare, the global leader in
secure content compliance, today announced that the company will showcase
its recently announced Workshare Ready Partners, its World Leading ILP
Client used by over 1500 organizations worldwide, and its Microsoft
standards based incident and reporting management at Booth # 903 at this
year's RSA Conference taking place February 5-9 at the Moscone Center in
San Francisco. In addition to demoing its technology, Workshare will have a
presence in nine of its partner booths including GigaTrust, PGP, PostX,
RPost, Secured Email, Secure Computing, Utimaco and Voltage. Workshare will
also present at an event during the conference.
Workshare will share its outbound content security expertise by
facilitating a Peer2Peer (P2P) session titled, "Dangerous Waters: What is
the Standard of Care for Outbound Content Security and Privacy?" Ken
Rutsky, executive vice president, worldwide products and marketing,
Workshare and Robert Brownstone, Esq., practice technology manager, Fenwick
& West LLP will facilitate the session from 3:50-4:40 p.m. on Wednesday,
February 7 in Orange Room 238. In this session, Rutsky and Brownstein will
lead a discussion on how much precaution is needed to prevent content
leaks, given the state of technology and risk. Recent leaks such as the TJX
incident have raised the potential liability of content leaks, making this
a very timely topic for discussion. Conference attendees can drop in on the
Peer2Peer sessions allowing attendees to share their interests and views in
a group discussion involving 25 people.
Announced earlier this week, the Workshare Ready Partner Program is an
open integration program that allows third parties to port their compliance
and security product technologies directly with Workshare Protect, the
first unified endpoint and network-level outbound content security solution
that dramatically reduces the leakage of privacy, financial and
confidential information over multiple channels and file types.
This partnership program extends Workshare Protect's selection of
content compliance actions to include archiving, encryption, information
rights, registered email delivery and an unlimited set of others to be
built using the SDK. These "third-party" actions supplement Workshare's
native actions such as alert, block, clean privacy and intellectual
property content, zip, quarantine, convert to PDF and remove hidden data.
Initial integrations announced include Microsoft, GigaTrust, PGP, PostX,
RPost, Secured Email, Secure Computing, Utimaco and Voltage security and
compliance products.
"Workshare continues to be ahead of the curve when it comes to securing
outbound content," said Ken Rutsky, executive vice president, worldwide
products and marketing. "The RSA conference will show again how Workshare
is leading the market in customers, partnerships, openness and integration,
the most robust and cost-effective solution, and most importantly in
bringing
together content, technology and subject area experts to guide
practitioners on the rapidly evolving threat environment and what can be
done about it."
