NEW YORK, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- This fall, consumers nationwide can
flaunt fashion-forward yet amazingly affordable designer styles from not
one, but two exclusive designer collections available at Payless
ShoeSource(R).
Laura Poretzky, designer of the wildly popular Abaete for Payless
designer brand first launched by Payless in Sept. 2006, will unveil her
fourth shoe and accessory collection for the retailer later today at her
Abaete show at New York Fashion Week. The high-style doesn't stop there,
however. Adding to the Payless designer mix with her first-ever shoe
collection is Lela Rose, who will also debut the Lela Rose for Payless fall
collection at her runway show on Sun.
This is Payless' third season at New York Fashion Week. Payless'
presence on two major runways this upcoming weekend represents a major step
in the retailer's mission to democratize fashion and design in footwear and
accessories by delivering the latest runway trends at affordable prices.

Inspired by her nine-week-old daughter -- Rosey Potter Jones -- Lela
Rose is also designing a line of infant shoes for Payless under the Teeny
Toes Lela Rose Collection, which will be available at Payless stores this
coming Aug. A few styles are expected to be unveiled backstage at Lela's
show on Rosey and big brother, Grey.
Additionally, Payless will appear on the runway at Child Magazine's
show, Feb. 9, the last day of New York Fashion Week, with styles from its
ABT for Spotlights brand and the general Payless children's collection. ABT
for Spotlights is an authentic dance shoe line created in collaboration
with American Ballet Theatre, America's National Ballet Company. ABT for
Spotlights, now available at select Payless stores and Payless.com for
under $25 a pair, includes jazz, tap and ballet shoes for beginning
dancers.

went on to work at some of the most prestigious fashion houses in New York.
After the launch of her successful swimwear line, Laura extended her
